Hi and welcome to Poppy Crossing Designs.

I am  a registered Landscape Architect who currently works in the Canberra region. I recently began designing sculptures and garden furniture.

I am passionate about design and patterns and have found much joy and satisfaction working with sheet metal to create intricate original designs. I draw inspiration from patterns in the landscape and from printed graphics.

I recently displayed my designs for the first time at an open garden at Bookham in November 2007. The response has been impressive and has inspired me to continue developing the designs.

I have many more designs progressing and have also done some private commissions. The range of work will include garden furniture, outdoor mirrors, feature garden gates, candelabras, interior lighting garden sculptures and more!

Photo: 'Wedding Tree with Teacups' in a natural rust finish, this was designed for a friends wedding as a wedding present. The original idea was for it to be a giant candelabra! However we ran out of time and it became part of set of trees that were up-lit in the garden. They are 2.1m by 1.2 wide.
